Don’t let the 411 model number fool you: This is a BIG boat – actual length is 46 feet!!
For interior size, comfort, performance, and value you cannot beat the 411 Meridian powered by twin Diesel Cummins 370HP engines! The Meridian line was and is designed by Sea Ray since its inception in 2003. All Meridian models are now produced in Sea Ray’s premier Yacht plant in Palm Coast Florida. Design and quality have made the Meridian brand the best-selling “Sedan Bridge” models in the US! This is a LOT of Boat for the money!!
The Meridian 411 Sedan Bridge represents one of the most versatile layouts of any production model in this size range. The expansive interior volume features two full sized staterooms allowing for maximum privacy for both owners and guests. There is plenty of sleeping space on board, with a mid-cabin under the “U” shaped dinette which also converts to a birth, and a sofa in the salon which can also double as a berth, and of course an oversized private owner’s stateroom located forward.
The cockpit helm is equipped with the customary “top of the line” marine electronics positioned ergonomically for the discerning Captain with visibility from the helm being excellent both forward and aft. Along with an auto pilot and radar, this vessel also has the “Docking On Command” (DOC) system incorporating both the bow and stern thrusters into one convenient control – YES, SHE GOES SIDWAYS AT THE DOCK!!!
The oversized bridge area offers an adjustable double bench helm and companion seat with flip up bolsters that can seat three. The wet bar with sink are on the starboard side for handy refills and reducing traffic down below. There is spacious wrap-around lounge passenger seating across from the helm on the port side with even more additional bridge seating aft on the bridge. Aft of the aft most seating on the bridge, is a bonus space for sunning (w/sun pad) or space that can be used for storage. There is a removable table for dining. The bridge to cockpit stairs are gentle on the knees and has a bridge lock out door.
The interior layout offers a well-equipped galley with storage on the port side with the large “U” shaped dinette to starboard. There is a private single entrance fully enclosed head with toilet and separate hot shower compartment for the master and another double entrance head serving the guest cabin and for use as the common day head. The two private cabins both offer full sized “Queen” births and plenty of closet space. The Salon seating sits 6 to 7 folks comfortably with all having a great viewing angle for the TV.
Forward access to the bow is provided via wide port and starboard walk ways with good hand holds all the way forward. Deck hardware is substantial both in quality and quantity being strategically located for ease of securing the vessel in docking and anchoring. The diamond cut pattern deck non-skid is throughout and offers sure footing and ease of cleaning.
The transom door is positioned on the starboard side for access to the fiberglass swim platform which offers an integrated pull out and down swim boarding ladder and hot and cold transom shower. This arrangement makes for a one straight line from swim platform to the sliding glass salon doors, and that makes it easy when you’re bringing a week’s worth of groceries. Abundant cockpit storage lockers, convenient catch bins, and drink holders are located throughout.
The aft leaning fiberglass arch and clean style lines running from the bow to the trailing end of the swim deck provides the classic and timeless appearance that Meridians are known for.
Owner regrettably has to pass this gem onto another loving owner. Initial delivery (warranty start date) to the first owner was on 30 June 2005 and she has less than 550 hours on the hobbs. Current owner is the second owner who purchased her in 2012.
