Vessel Walkthrough
Boarding from the cockpit you will notice immediately the SEA DEK deck covering providing a nice cushioned non-skid surface and the unblemished cockpit bolsters. Additionally prominent is the Transom door and large modeled in live well. There are two insulated fish boxes in the deck, ample rod holders in the covering boards, under covering board storage lockers, horizontal gaff and boathook storage, and forward cockpit units for bait prep, etc., there are 2-Port and 2-Starboard cockpit outlets for Kite Reels, etc. Forward to the Helm/Bridge deck, also covered with SEA DEK, via 3 steps up; to your right is a unit with drawer storage, Helm AC equipment and a companion Stidd chair with foot rest, on the centerline is the fully equipped helm with electronic controls and electronic installations, with the Stidd Helm chair, next to the left is another Stidd companion chair with foot rest sitting on top of a storage locker. Behind the helm and chairs is a L-Shaped guest lounge with storage under. The engine room is accessed via a deck hatch or the lifting section of the helm deck.
Moving forward via the companionway to the accommodations; to your left is the Electrical panel,with a TV above, to your right is a vertical locker for rods or…also to you right is a L-Shaped settee that converts to upper/lower bunks, and a fold out bed. Above the settee is additional storage. Forward to your left is a fully equipped galley. Aft of the galley is the very spacious head, with separate shower, vanity/storage and toilet. The salon sole, covered with teak and holly, also features a large below deck bilge access and storage. Continuing forward to the stateroom with a centerline queen bed, with storage, two hanging lockers, full length sheer lockers for rods or…The cabin has a TV, overhead deck hatch and AC.
Deck to Tower
From the cockpit covering boards up the tower leg 6-steps to the hardtop where mounted are the canister life raft, ACR EPIRB, Raymarine HD digital radar, rocket launcher rod holders on aft end, on the underside of the fiberglass Tower Helm Platform are spreader lights. The double spreader outriggers are mounted to the tower legs. From the hardtop moving up the tower legs another 4-steps to the Tower helm platform with a fiberglass sunshade with 2nd set of spreader lights, control box with a Raymarine multi-function display, installations of electronic engine controls, engine display, joystick, Precision Pilot Pad and VHF. The tower helm also has a double seat with backrest and footrest. Forward on the tower helm platform is an ACR spotlight.
From the cockpit steps to the covering boards forward on the ample side decks with handrail on the underside of the hardtop to the extended bow rail to the foredeck with bow pulpit with windlass.

Broker’s Comments
The 40 CABO is a well proven sportfishing yacht design and legendary for the build quality, finish and its abilities Offshore. The “A MODO MIO” appears to have been lightly used, having averaged less than 100 hours a year, is nicely equipped, and is very well kept. Only for sale because the owner is retiring from sportfishing.

- 12 Dec 2020 – full speed run in Intracoastal waterway, Palm Beach
- Bottom Condition – hauled and scraped for survey; not fresh, some fouling, Stbd. trim plane was in-operable for sea trial–is now repaired and functional
