This year (2021), family-owned Formula Boats is celebrating 65 years of boat-building experience that includes offshore performance racing boats. With the Formula 45 Performance Cruiser, Formula has combined its high performance FAS3TECH® hull design and state-of-the-art construction with a true luxury yacht’s unrivaled craftsmanship, luxurious amenities, and finest materials. The Formula 45 excels in many ways, with exceptional handling, high-quality grain-matched woodwork throughout and a generous list of standards, along with better fuel efficiency.

She is stored on a lift and powered with twin D6 Volvos with IPS propulsion that have been maintained and upgraded by the local authorized Volvo dealer, providing the sporty, exciting performance Formula is world renowned for. In February 2021, both heat exchangers were flushed and serviced. There are only 1,091 hours on the mains. The signature centerline walk-through curved glass windshield first innovated by Formula in 1984, doesn’t noisily whistle at high speeds, like some other brands. The raised bridge deck and lower-level aft cockpit are designed with audio sound system, wet bar, grill, fridge, ice maker and plenty of seating for entertaining at dock or a sandbar raft up.

If you want to spend long lazy days anchored off the beach and want the comforts of air conditioning and a cold fridge, a 12.5 KW Westerbeke generator enclosed in a sound shield with only 192 hours on it, will do the job. The 45 offers a large extended fixed swim platform to lounge at water level or store a jet ski, and an air-conditioned raised deck helm station that is protected by a 3-sided enclosed hardtop with motorized sunroof. The 45 has a spacious interior with two staterooms and two head layout that is separated by the salon and galley, an entertainment focal point. The interior wood finish is in wonderful condition and the Formula boasts great storage. The Formula 45 is very comfortable for a long weekend or day cruising with family or friends with the exhilaration of a go-fast performance ride! Why wait on new construction—this one-owner well-maintained Formula 45 is available NOW!
