General Description
Master stateroom has a queen-size berth with a head en-suite and an expansive shower.
The aft cabin has twin berths that glide smoothly on tracks to become another queen that also has its own head en-suite with another expansive shower with a teak seat.
In the galley the 385 HTS uses every nook and cranny has useful and accessible stowage, from the clever shelving under the galley that unfolds to fully utilize space that would otherwise be lost.
There’s great natural light throughout the boat, including the lower salon with three oversize skylights, plus another long skylight in master.
At the helm you get a wonderful ergonomics with the throttle/shifters and joystick cantilevered on a base that is exactly where the hand falls naturally. She boasts 360-degree visibility with a huge one-piece windshield with pantograph wipers that sweep in formation. The retractable sunroof opens up the area for entertaining.
The main deck is about entertaining, with a settee-cum-chaise opposite the helm and an oversize dinette around a folding high-low table, plus an outdoor galley with a grill, sink and refrigerator.
One of the most interesting features on this large 38’er is its garage with transom door. It can hold a 9-foot tender easily, and the floor rises on lifts to reveal the entire engine room. It needs a ladder, but you can really get to everything easily.
Also note the oversized swim platform not seen in boats of this category.
